[Things hadn't gone quite as planned for either of them. And while this was something wildly different than what Ruby had expected in her life- There wasn't much of her old life to go back to properly. The last thing she remembered from home was falling into a void that a literal being created by gods had warned her not to fall into. If she wasn't dead there then she was sure she was something adjacent to it. This was something she could hold onto and she liked that more than anything.

Plus she had promised if Henry Tudor ever showed his face again. Her and Parker would get payback for what he had done. Ruby was resourceful enough to make sure that happened. ...And she was more capable of the follow through than anyone would really give her credit for. Even herself.

It was easy to convince her of just about anything when it came to school life on earth. Her... ideas of what school consisted of were much more extreme and she had never got the chance to graduate anyway. Another little scar she had to deal with.
